Firefighting equipment includes: 3 Brush Pumpers, 2 Engines and 1 Tanker. Coverage area includes 5.2 square miles of Spencer. Other coverage areas may include: Midwest City, Forest Park, Nicoma Park, Unincorporated Oklahoma County and Oklahoma City. Fire Department is located seven (7) miles East of I-35 and 7 miles North of I-40.
Organizational Structure
The Spencer Fire Department is currently headed by Interim Fire Chief, Jamey Hodge. along with chief Hodge the Spencer Fire Deparment has two volunteers and runs two full time fire fighters per shift in a 24 hour period.
Storm Shelter Registration
The City of Spencer encourages anyone with a safe room or storm shelter to register by calling the Fire Department at (405) 771-3621 or pritn our online registration form to submit your shelter information to P.O. Box 660, Spencer, Oklahoma 73084. Please provide your name, telephone number, email address, shelter address, shelter location (front yard, back yard, garage, etc…), and the type of shelter you have (safe room, in-ground, basement).
