City of Spencer seeks innovative Fire Chief to lead a combination department of six full-time employees and ten volunteers.  Must meet state physical requirements and have served three (3) years in a paid Fire Department.  Strong candidates will be computer literate, have experience with budgeting, MS Word, Excel, managing people, public speaking, and be a team player.  Salary will be negotiable with year with 100% health, dental, Fire Pension, and disability benefits.  Candidates must undergo a check of their criminal history, computer and other assessments.  To apply, forward hard copy resume to the following:
